iPhone developer Brian Stormont pinged us this morning to share the news that Apple has quietly updated iTunes Connect with a great new feature: Status History. Appearing near recently reviewed items, this option opens a detail table showing how your application has worked its way through the App Store review process, and on to the shelf. Stormont details this update on his site.

In a seemingly rare move for the social news company, Digg is annoucing a new feature today aimed at bringing the best content to the front page of Digg.com more quickly.

Called Digg Trends, it will bring a story to the front page of Digg in a special section, for ten minutes. After that period of time, the story will either make the front page, or will be passed over. It will look something like this:

UPS has introduced a new application for iPhone and iPod touch users that ships and tracks packages and also uses built-in GPS features to find the closest UPS store.
Available at the APP Store, the new UPS Mobile APP for iPhone allows users to track shipments, create shipments using the My UPS address book, calculate shipping rates and time-in-transit.

   Apple has officially begun selling the iPhone smartphone in China, marking the first time the smartphone has been available in the nation with the world’s largest amount of mobile subscribers.
   China Unicom, the second largest carrier in the nation began selling the phone on Friday, and has two models available, 8GB and 32GB.
